The Accounts Clerk will provide daily and monthly financial reporting, assist with stock management, and support reconciliations across the Service Station and Bookstore operations. The role ensures accuracy in financial records, compliance with reporting standards, and effective support for management decision-making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Service station
Prepare daily sales reports for fuel, lubricants, and wet stock.
Compile monthly expenses and submit summaries for management review.
Record and report delivery losses for fuel and lubricant.
Manage Shop inputs, including Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs).
Assist with stock takes for fuel, lubricants, and shop inventory.
2. Bookstore
Support stock take exercises for books, stationery, puzzles, and educational materials.
3. General duties
Maintain accurate filing of financial documents and records.
Assist with the preparation of management reports as required.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor of Accountancy Honours Degree.
· 2 years of work experience in a similar role.
· Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
